Who We Are

Based in Toronto, Canada, We are a student-led non-profit initiative dedicated to promoting charity, financial literacy, and an entrepreneurial spirit amongst youth while raising funds to fight hunger. We operate through more than 50 Chapters in high schools across 4 countries.

What We Do

The Good Eats Project has three main goals: earn, educate, and empower.Firstly, we aim to earn funds to donate to local charities focused on fighting food insecurity and homelessness. To do this, our semi-independent Chapters, operating in high schools across the world, use our provided business model to organize regular snack and refreshment sales.Secondly, our local Chapters educate students on financial literacy, and entrepreneurship by hosting lessons provided by our organization on a variety of subjects including personal finance, marketing, and business operations. Students are ultimately able to put this knowledge into practice as they help run these small “businesses”.Thirdly, we use our network of Chapters to empower youth to make an impact on their community in a fun way by devising and implementing programs and events that allow them to get involved beyond fundraising; such events include food rescues, volunteer drives, and awareness campaigns.Through this mix of experiential learning and charitable work, we hope to make an impact on Good Eats Project members, and their communities.

Get Involved!

Our semi-autonomous Chapters within schools play a crucial role in driving our mission forward, and we are looking for high school students to start Chapters in their schools.
Chapter Directors have the power to choose which products to sell, plan sales and teach lessons, recruit members, and appoint leadership within their Chapters.
Running a Chapter in your school is an exceptional leadership opportunity, and by becoming a Director, you will gain valuable experience, learn new skills, and make a tangible difference in your community – most importantly, you will have fun doing it! Our unique organizational structure ensures that you will have independence while benefiting from support and shared resources.

We are also accepting applications for Regional Directors. As an RD, you will be in charge of recruiting and managing Chapters in your city, province, state, or country. To apply, please register your Chapter and send your resume to [email protected].
